The Aspen Music Festival and School and Aspen Country Day School have a superior team in place to design, engineer, build, and manage the Matthew and Carolyn Bucksbaum Campus.


Harry Teague Architects is a Basalt-based firm which also designed the AMFS's Benedict Music Tent (2000) and Harris Concert Hall (1993). The firm has an international design reputation, based in part due to its long association with the revitalization and reinterpretation of Western vernacular architecture. The firm has won numerous awards, including Harry Teague (pictured left) being named Architect of the Year in 2000 by the AIA Colorado. 

Founded in 1962, Shaw Construction strives to be an industry leader through pioneering construction philosophies, methods, practices, visions, and approaches. Shaw has built some of Colorado’s most notable resorts, including Aspen's five-star The Little Nell, as well as the AMFS's Benedict Music Tent (2000) and Harris Concert Hall (1993), the Eagle County Airport, and the 2020 Lawrence apartments.

The Wells Partnership is a Colorado-based owner representation/project management firm with roots deep in the design and construction industries. Clients include developers, public agencies, institutions, special districts, not-for-profit groups, private partnerships, municipalities, and corporations.

SGM has been contributing engineering solutions to Colorado communities for several decades. As a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and consulting firm, its business philosophy is to serve as partners to clients while contributing to their success. SGM is headquartered in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, with additional offices in Gunnison, Aspen, Durango, Meeker, Salida, and Grand Junction. 

KL&A is a Rocky Mountain region-based company of structural designers, steel detailers, and builders and is the leader in integrated steel construction services in the region. KL&A has existed since 1994, and currently has over forty employees. Led by Principals Greg Kingsley, Brant Lahnert, and Doug Rutledge, the firm has grown to include four offices located in Colorado and Wyoming. 

40BWORKS is an earthwise art, design, landscape architecture, and planning firm. The firm was started in 2014 by Suzanne Jackson who received her B. Arch. from the University of Cape Town and her MLA from Harvard University. Prior to starting 40BWORKS, Suzanne worked at Design Workshop, in Aspen, Colorado, for over twenty-six years.
